Gilbern Cars

An Advert for Fujicolor film dating from 1973 (remember when 100ASA was 'fast'?), appearing in the September issue of Photo Technique magazine. Gilbern Cars didn't last much longer than the advert, going bust some six months later. The car itself is a Mark III Invader model.

    I have just spent a happy half hour finding out all about Gilbern Cars...I hadn't heard of them before. Very nice, and a fascinating history. Thanks for alerting me. I used to buy "Photo Technique" too, a long time ago...

      I still have a number of the magazines, which I regularly bought at the time. The binding tends to disintegrate however, but does make scanning pages a little easier!
